Roberto De Zerbi has issued a scathing message to Tottenham star Lucas Bergvall in scheduled interviews
Roberto De Zerbi has held talks with Lucas Bergvall but insists the door is open to any player who wants to leave Tottenham.
The Swede has informed Tottenham officials of his desire to find a new club this summer after failing to secure a place in the starting XI.

Bergvall, who represented Sweden at the World Cup, cut short his summer break to join his Spurs teammates on the team’s pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand.
However, his future is not clear as there are five weeks left for the players to be named.
Speaking at his first press conference in Auckland, De Zerbi made clear his stance on players who may be planning a future away from the club.
“Listen, I was very clear at the beginning of my time at Tottenham. I said ‘Who does not want to stay at Tottenham, who is not happy, is not proud to stay here, he should leave,'” the Italian told reporters.
“I want proud players who are happy to stay here and enter the Tottenham Stadium with great motivation.
“When you think about the World Cup, motivation makes a difference. The motivation is to be happy to stay in the same team.”
Organized lectures
Asked directly about Bergvall’s future, he added: “I haven’t spoken to Lucas yet, I will in the coming days.”
“We will make the best decision for the club, for Lucas, for me, for each of us. Regardless of the problems, Lucas has a great, great talent.
“There will be a big competition to play because in the end I think we will have two players in each position.
“If he wants to stay I will be happy, otherwise we have to find a new solution with Johan Lange and Vinai (Venkatesham).

There has been a lot of Premier League interest in Bergvall this summer.
Nottingham Forest informed their intentions but saw their advances rejected.
Newcastle went ahead and launched a £46million bid for the 20-year-old only to see his bid rejected.
It remains to be seen whether Bergvall will secure a move from Tottenham before deadline day with Spurs holding a £50m bid for the Swede.
De Zerbi prioritizes his attack
Elsewhere, De Zerbi revealed that he will focus on strengthening his attack ahead of the new season.
Spurs have been busy in the transfer market for defenders Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson.

De Zerbi has also strengthened his midfield options after signing Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes for a combined £185m.
And now the Italian has confirmed that he is looking to attack.
“The goal now is to eliminate the attack sites,” he said.
“We want the first goal, the first level, because we already have important players.
“But I think to start a new project we need a few other important players for sure.”
Tottenham’s two-match tour kicks off against Auckland FC at 4am on Sunday morning (UK time).
They then head to Australia to play Sydney FC on Wednesday morning at 10.45am (UK time).
