Midtjylland to beat Besiktas @ 9/4
Besiktas finished fourth in the Turkish Super Lig last season, which saw them reach the Europa League qualifiers, but that was not as strong an effort as the league position suggests.
The Black Eagles are only nine points behind seventh-placed Samsunspor and 17 points behind champions Galatasaray.
Vincenzo Italiano arrived in Istanbul to manage Besiktas last month and the ex-Bologna boss has strengthened his squad with big money signings Orkun Kokcu and Leandro Trossard.
However, Trossard is not available for selection due to his World Cup efforts with Belgium and Besiktas may find life difficult against a Midtjylland side, who look better prepared for the Europa League qualifying rounds.
FCM played a series of friendly matches in preparation for Thursday’s match, with many of their key players taking part.
The Moors have plenty of talent in their squad with Dario Osorio and Franculino Dju the standouts, while former Leeds defender Rasmus Kristensen has strengthened the defence.
Midtjylland finished third in the Europa League last season and Mike Tullberg’s men look to be underrated going into this competition.

Benfica to beat St Gallen and over 2.5 goals @ 19/20
Benfica will be hoping to improve under new manager Marco Silva while the Eagles should move on to Europa League qualifiers St Gallen.
Silva has added Georgiy Sudakov, Jakub Kaminski and Enzo Barrenechea to an already talented squad and Benfica were good enough to beat Real Madrid 4-2 in the Champions League last season.
St Gallen saw 119 goals scored in their 38 Swiss Super League games last season, and while Espen does not have the quality of Benfica, Enrico Maaben’s men are likely to go further.
The victory of Benfica and more than 2.5 goals in the AFG Arena pays 19/20 to the bet maker and that makes a lot of appeal.
Longshot acca of the day
Qarabag will beat CSKA Sofia, Twente beat Ferencvaros, Noah beat Csf Zimbru Chisinau three times @ 10/3
Qarabag beat Vestri 6-0 on aggregate in the last Europa League qualifying round and the Azerbaijan team is a respectable asset at this level of football.
CSKA Sofia failed to perform well against lowly Derry City and the Bulgarians are opposed in their travels.
The ongoing campaign carried Twente above Ajax, Utrecht and AZ in the Eredivisie last term and the Dutch side could see off Ferencvaros, who lost some strong players in the summer and look to be below their Europa rivals.
FC Noah failed to topple Ararat-Armenia at the top of the Armenian Premier League last season, but Sandro Perkovic’s men finished with a +42 goal difference and are a consistent outfit.
The Abovyan team can overtake Conference League rivals Csf Zimbru Chisinau.
