Bet of the day
St Mirren to beat Dunfermline @ 21/10
St Mirren enjoyed an afternoon to remember when they beat Celtic in the Scottish League Cup final last season and have scored four goals in each of their three group games against Dumbarton, Cove Rangers and East Kilbride this season.
They could have too much for their opponents Dunfermline. The Pars recovered from a 3-0 defeat by East Kilbride to see off Dumbarton and Cove, but the hosts look to be on top of their game.
Betting Builder
Malmo vs Elfsborg – Malmo to win, both teams scored and under 10.5 corners @ 23/5
Malmo have won four consecutive defeats in Sweden’s Allsvenskan and, after scoring nine times in their last two home games, should have too much for Elfsborg.
Their opponents have won one of their six away games, but there are still chances for both teams to find the back of the net.
The visitors have failed to score in one of their 14 league games and both teams have scored five of Malmo’s six goals at home.
However, don’t expect many corners. Elfsborg manage less than four flag kicks per away game, while Malmo average less than five in their campaign, so it may not be more than 10.
Acca of the day
Sirius, GAIS, Sarpsborg, Flamengo and Palmeiras all won @ 27/4
Our five-fold selection includes games from Sweden, Norway and Brazil.
Allsvenskan leaders Sirius are unbeaten and have opened up a nine-point lead and Goteborg look to end their career here, especially as they have scored 20 goals in seven away games.
GAIS, meanwhile, have conceded just twice in seven games at home and should prove too strong for bottom-placed Halmstad, who have just one point to show for their seven tries on the road.
In Norway, it seems likely that HamKam will struggle again on the road as they have not won in six away games.
What is wrong with them is that they are visiting the form of Sarpsborg, who found a rhythm by claiming ten points in the last four games.
Brazil offers a place for the last two bets that can be combined with the matches already mentioned with a possible prize of 27/4.
Flamengo should get their fourth win against Sao Paolo, who are winless in six.
While Palmeiras have lost just once in Serie A all season and it should be enough to see off Atletico Mineiro, as the leaders look to at least maintain their seven-point lead.
