A transfer update for Bradley Barcola has been released with Arsenal and Liverpool interested

Bradley Barcola’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is unclear but Arsenal and Liverpool are still on the lookout.
This French player is playing in the World Cup with two goals and an assist, so far, as he reached the Round 16.

It comes off the back of a successful season with PSG which saw the defender score 13 goals and grab six assists in all competitions.
However, as he competes with formidable teammates such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, and Desire Doue, he has seen his game time dwindle.
In June, talkSPORT reported that Barcola had informed Paris Saint-Germain that he wished to leave the club after the start of the 21-year-old league.
He also played in the second half of the Champions League final, which saw them beat Arsenal on penalties.
It is believed that the position of Paris Saint-Germain is that the player is not for sale.
However, it seems that certain agreements have to be worked out, this could change and Arsenal and Liverpool are in a position to move him.
Transfer spokesman Ben Jacobs told talkSPORT: “Bradley Barcola’s situation is still open and I stand by the information I reported last month that if PSG add one or two wide forwards or on the wing then the door will be open for Bradley Barcola to leave.
“Barcola and PSG are not compatible with contract extension talks so the combination of PSG not being able to extend Bradley Barcola and adding one or two strikers would mean Barcola asking to leave.
“With the right number, PSG might be ready to sell even though at the beginning of most of the summer we wanted to keep the player but they want to keep him in a new contract or they want to keep him if they can add other players in the wide areas either on the left or on the right because people like Yan Diomande are very flexible.
“So, PSG’s situation is like that.

“Liverpool and Arsenal are the clubs to watch.
“Arsenal want Morgan Rogers but Bradley Barcola is also on their list and Liverpool and Bradley Barcola could also be a developing story.
“He is high in their thinking as Liverpool look to add another striker in addition to Victor Munoz.
“So, a lot is happening, a lot of dominoes need to fall.
The latest Yan Diomande
It is understood that Ivory Coast and RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande has agreed a five-year contract with PSG.
That is after Liverpool pulled out of their pursuit of the talented player after an £86.3million bid was rejected.
The French giants now have a free run on Diomande, which could set them back more than £100m.
It has been an impressive rise for the 19-year-old who was on trial at Rangers in 2023.
