Alexia Putellas has signed a three-year contract with London City Lionesses after leaving Barca

Kang also has ownership shares in NWSL through Washington SpiritOL Lyonnes in France. After one year of ownership by the London City Lionesses, the club was promoted to the WSL 2025-2026 season. The team recently completed their first year in the WSL, finishing sixth with eight wins, three draws and 11 losses.
Now the club is eyeing a second year following promotion to the WSL with a major signing in Puellas. His arrival will raise hopes of closing that gap In Englandand he will not be alone.
