Joshua faces a tough battle against Albania, who has lost 21 fights

“We feel good. It will go down tomorrow night in Jeddah,” said Joshua on DAZN Boxing.

The weigh-in comes after Tyson Fury scored a seventh-round TKO victory over Mariusz Wach in Thailand.

Fury said he has ‘passed’ his test but doubts Joshua will beat tomorrow night’s opponent, Prenga.

The 35-year-old Albanian will be Joshua’s biggest opponent, with Prenga having lost just once in his 21 fights, winning each of his last 16 by knockout or TKO.

On Friday, Tyson Fury said he defeated Mariusz Wach in Thailand and said he will not come to watch Joshua’s fight.

“The job is done and this is not going to be easy,” Eddie Hearn told DAZN Boxing.

“[Prenga] I’m not saying a guy comes in here with a bunch of losses, he’s going to come on payday. He has all of Albania behind him by the sounds of things.

“Big fight, big chance. We know what’s coming on the other side; we’re going to have to face this guy tonight.

“I expect, and I hope, that we will get a game that shows everything that Joshua has put into this training camp.”

Usyk’s team wants ‘greatness’ from Joshua

Joshua, who has not fought since entering the ring to face Paul in December 2025, is training with Oleksandr Usyk’s team in preparation for tomorrow’s fight.

Preparing for tomorrow’s fight, he revealed that Usyk’s team encouraged him to ‘show greatness’ against Prenga at the weekend.

“I’m good at what I do anyway,” Joshua told Sky Sports. “I’m really strong. I can take, I can give, so sometimes I can’t do enough but be good enough.

“But these guys said, ‘nah’. They want to see more. They want to see more, like take it out.

“Let’s bring out the good things you have and improve. And my training method has improved a lot.”

He continued: “You do your best, but it should be normal to perform at this level. That’s what Usyk’s team says. Your greatness should be something you do every day in the gym.”
