Betting Day
Both teams to score over 2.5 goals in Norway vs England @ 53/50
England’s strength comes from the attack of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, who played as champions of the World Cup.
Kane has scored the most goals for his country with six goals and Bellingham is still only two goals behind, which is proof of how important they were.
Norway have their talisman in the final third, Erling Haaland, who scored both goals in the Last 16 win over Brazil to make it seven in the competition.
While both nations excelled in attack, it was a different story in defence.
Norway have been conceded in all five of their World Cup games and a much-changed Red, White and Blue side conceded four goals in their final group game against France.
England conceded twice when they defeated Mexico 3-2 in the previous round, which means that the Three Lions have conceded five goals in the World Cup.
Norway’s five games have seen both teams score more than 2.5 goals in the world, and it looks like there’s a strong chance this bet will pay off again in Miami.
Special of the Day
Julian Ryerson 1+ Help @ 18/5
England’s problems at right back perhaps overshadowed a general weakness in their back line and Thomas Tuchel’s men held on against Mexico in the last 16.
Full-backs Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi are mobile and good on the ball, but they don’t command when balls are played into the box and England’s full-backs are not good at blocking.
Julian Ryerson has provided 17 assists for Borussia Dortmund in the 2025-26 season and has a lethal Haaland to target against Norway.
At a good price, Ryerson could be backed to get Norway help on Saturday.
Longshot bet of the day
Switzerland beat Argentina 1-0 @ 21/2
Defending champions Argentina held on to their World Cup title, with a stunning 3-2 win over Cape Verde and Egypt to advance to the quarter-finals.
Switzerland have the best of opponents Argentina in the knockout rounds and have conceded just three goals in five World Cup matches.
Granit Xhaka can control the field when they face Argentina and this Swiss player may have the star Johan Manzambi injured.
At 21/2, Switzerland looks like a good price for a narrow 1-0 quarter-final success.
